Dear ACEC-DE Member,

We are excited to announce the official start to the 2009 Engineering Excellence Awards! In an effort to promote Delaware's Engineering Excellence at a higher level, we have revamped our rules and submission dates to more closely align with ACEC National. We look forward to a day soon when the National winner is from the First State.

The major change to ACEC Delaware Engineering Excellence rules is related to submission dates. The timeline has been pushed to earlier dates in order to have a Delaware winner selected in time to have a successful submission to the ACEC National competition on January 9, 2009.

A less significant change is that of the presentation posters. We have modified the rules to match those of ACEC National. The winning board for the Delaware competition will be ready to go to the National competition and ACEC Delaware will pay the National entry fee at the membership rate!

The revised ACEC Delaware Engineering Excellence application package is enclosed. We wish you the best of luck for the ACEC Delaware 2009 Engineering Excellence Awards. Please contact us if you have any questions.
